Most have heard by now, but I have a book coming out in just under two weeks!! It’s called “The Human Remains: Drawing Out Compassion in Medicine” and it’s a graphic memoir on surviving medical training and trying to learn how to keep at least a tenuous grip on my humanity (and that of my patients) in the process. The book is available for pre-order HERE.
So grateful to see early copies of the book starting to arrive in shipments all over, and I can’t wait for the official release/publication date on Nov 10th!!
I’ll be doing author events in as many sites as I can squeeze in between juggling clinical work and family, so keep your eyes posted in case I’m in your neighborhood and you’d like to say “hi” in person and/or get a book signed.
